this past week has seriously been awesome.

last sat i went down to sd. i met up with yana and kendra and we saw versus the mirror. it was nice seeing some tucson faces. and shane and i finally made up after not talking for like 5 years. so that was nice. after the show i went to claytons and spent the night. it was nice seeing him too since i hadnt seen him since warped last year.

sunday morning clayton took me out to breakfast then i drove back home. and i pretty much slept the whole day.

monday hilary came out. good times. we ended up going to rami and georges at like midnight to see them and the higher.

tuesday playboy. it was fun. saw luke and allen's band play there. so much fun. after that i came home and around 2am hil and i went to rami and georges.

wednesday hil, seth, pat, james, gardner, and i saw star wars. yes we rule. we seriously waited til the last minute to do that and it all worked out. it was awesome.

thursday was the oc. omg sooo good.

friday my family came out here. me and my brother went to the new years day show. fucking ruled. mostly cuz we met TOM FROM MYSPACE!!! and we totally talked to him for like 15 min. yesssssss.

sat hung out with the fam. saw star wars again with my brother.

today my grandpa flys out from ny. so that should be fun.

my last week of school is this week. so stoked. going to disneyland this week too. yayyyy!!!

tonight keith and i were at 7-11 and all of a sudden the guy goes "excuse me, excuse me" and then takes off running after some kid who just walked out with 2 30 packs of beer. he comes back and like 10 seconds later another kid walks out with 2 24 packs. hahaha. sooo random.

reminded me of the days when andrew nelson and the boys used to do beer runs and would end up with like 300 beers. i miss those days.

mickey romero died on sunday. i know hes in a better place now. hed been fighting the cancer for like 3 years. i hope his family is ok.

i found this while i was looking at mickey's obituary.

Brian Peter Mulholland

17, died in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 24, 2003. He passed in a car accident that also took the life of his friend Rafael "Rafe" Thompson, also 17. Brian was a recent high school graduate who had received his diploma from Catalina Foothills High School only two days earlier on May 21st. He moved to Tucson in August of 2001 and had finished his last two years of high school here.

Born August 24, 1985, Brian was blessed with a babyface that had only recently started to take on some of the features of manhood. He was born to parents Armi and John Mulholland and lived most of his first fifteen years in Skokie, IL, a suburb of Chicago. He had one brother, Sean, who was four years his senior.
Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents Peter and Josephine Mulholland, his grandfather Romeo Hormillosa, and his dogs Ben and Amana.

He is survived by his loving parents Armi and John, his brother Sean, his grandmother Renee who wishes she could be here for his funeral, his step-grandpa Sydney, his uncles James, Peter, Romeo, Rory, Marlot, and Sy, his aunts May, Donna, Dora, Maridel, and Ligaya, his cousins Natalie (Natasha), LeAnn, Sharon, Rachael, Byron, Danielle, Andrea, Michael, Erika, Lavey, and Liam, his dogs Bull, Bridget, and Arf, and countless other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at MOUNTAIN SHADOWS FUNERAL HOME, 5225 E. Speedway, Tuesday, May 27, 2003 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church at 5150 N. Valley View Road, right by his high school, on Wednesday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m.

We all love you Bri. You'll be missed.

israel was amazing. i dont even know how to describe how awesome it was. riding on camels. floating in the dead sea. sunrise hike up masada. partying in tel aviv. bedouin tent. ISRAELI SOLDIERS. the western wall. jerusalem. mega event. ah. so much more. i miss everything about israel. im looking into a program thats 10 months long. hopefully it will work out.

Friday, 7 January
An early afternoon arrival at Ben-Gurion Airport where you will be met and assisted through customs. Depart for Tel Aviv, with a stop at the old picturesque port city of Jaffa for an introduction to modern and ancient Israel. Come to a better understanding of the strategic significance of the Golan Heights and its importance in future negotiations with our neighbors. Drive on to the Banias National Park and source of the River Jordan for a hike. Return to your hotel for dinner and then set off for a night swim in the natural hot sulfur pools of Hamat Gader.

Begin the day by visiting Kibbutz Metzer on the Green Line. See and hear about Palestinian Israel relationships and the problems and realities of co-existence in today's political climate. Wednesday, 12 January
The day begins with a group of 8 Israelis who join the group for the next 5 days. After getting to know the new group members join in an ongoing archeological dig at Tel Marasha and literally sift your way through layers of history! Continue your travel through history by exploring the ancient caves at Bet Guvrin. In the afternoon drive south to Kfar Hanokdim Bedouin Village for a camel ride in the Negev Desert before enjoying a traditional Bedouin Hafla dinner accompanied by Bedouin tales of folklore. Sleep under the stars in a traditional Bedouin tent!

Thursday, 13 January
Rise and shine with an early departure for Massada, the last stronghold of the Zealots against the Romans. Walk up the Roman Ramp and participate in our Massada program on the very summit of the mountain, visiting the remarkable excavations including Herod's Palace and the ancient water system. Descend via the Snake Path and continue on to the Dead Sea for lunch and plenty of time to enjoy a float in the salty waters. Visit the Ein Gedi national park before returning to Jerusalem. Freshen up and after dinner enjoy our evening program

Friday, 14 January
Begin the day in the new city of Jerusalem at Yad Vashem Museum for a poignant visit to this memorial to the Holocaust. Continue to Mount Herzl named after the founder of Modern Zionism, and the cemetery for Israeli soldiers killed since 1948, including the grave of Itzhak Rabin, the assassinated former Prime Minister of Israel. This afternoon, see Israelis preparing for the Sabbath while walking through the Nachlaot neighborhood. This evening, celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat at the Kotel followed by a festive Shabbat dinner. After dinner participate in our special Shabbat program.

This morning, there are optional synagogue services. Join the guide for a walking tour through Mishkenot Sha'ananim. After lunch, there is time to relax and meet visiting family members. This evening we stroll the colorful pedestrian mall of Ben Yehuda

Sunday, 16 January
Today we do a walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem. Entering through the Zion Gate you will re-visit the Kotel (Western Wall). Continue to the Ophel Archeological Park to touch remains of the 1st Temple and findings from several different periods and explore the Jewish Quarter with its ancient Cardo and winding alleyways. Dinner at your hotel will be followed by a drive to the Burma Road where we discuss the siege of Jerusalem in 1948 before ending this unique night with a Middle Eastern tea in a biblical tent set in the middle of a forest. This is also a great time to bid farewell to your new found Israeli friends who now leave the group.

Monday, 17 January
We will drive through Jerusalem for a last look and some last minute shopping before making your way to the Ayalon Institute in Rehovot, to hear and see a little about the fight for Israel’s independence. We then have time for evaluations and a wrap-up session before enjoying a farewell dinner and saying our good byes to all our new found friends. We then leave for Ben Gurion Airport for our late night flight home...:(

so eddie's on his way to pick me up. im spending the night over at their house. then in the morning seth is taking me to the airport. i still dont know who is picking me up. but i guess ill figure that out later. hahaha. i take off at 12:10 tomorrow. then... at 3:35pm [israel time] on the 7th i will be in israel!!!!! ah so excited!!!! i get back on the 18th at 10:20am. [i know you were all wondering]

hopefully ill find some time to get on the internet there. we all know how hard it is to stay away from the internet for even a few days.

new years eve i spent at the playboy mansion. travis barker, mark hoppus, china [wrestler], jenny mccarthy, nikki hilton, bill muhr, leo dicaprio, weird al, ron jeremy. those were just a few. i gave ron jeremy crab[s]. i hope i get to go back soon.

i leave for israel in 3 days. i cannot even begin to tell you how stoked i am for this trip. i still have shit to get for it.

tonight i got pink.

tonight i just hung out with keith and adam. watched them play halo on xbox live. laughed at them cuz they got wayyy too into the game. darren was over for a bit too. he had never played before so it was soo funny. whenever a game would start hed always be like. ok im ready to die. and the way he put it is "youre like telling me hey darren go fly a helicoptor" hahahaha. maybe you had to be there. oh well it was fun. ok now im gonna try to get some sleep. i have a final tomorrow that i have not studied for at all. and i dont plan on it. weeeeee.

hanukkah night seven

tonight i got enternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

also, megan and i went to the warped tour battle of the bands thing tonight at the key club. it was sooo random. we only really watched saosin. they did really good. i was suprised. we watched a few songs from my american heart. they were awesome. hopefully theyll win the battle of the bands or whatever they are doing. so anyway.

here are some random things that happened....

when we pulled up to park ben from yc was behind us. well ben and megan are friends. so they said their hellos and we went on our way. well we walk up to the venue and say we are on the list and the security guy doing the guestlist has a clipboard with like 10 lists on it. so when he found megans name he unleashed (i guess) the red rope thing. i felt like i was in a movie. hahaha. (i dont know if any of that made sense.) so inside its packed. so megan and i went to the hustler store for a bit. when we came back my american heart was on. so i start to make my way in when I RAN INTO AJ FROM BSB!!!!!! (omg kimberly!!!!) i had never been starstruck until that. and oh ya... he was also by the bar a lot. shows what rehab did for him. hahahahaha.

anyway... other random things seeing two younger girls (like mid 20s) three way kissing some old man (like 40). seeing alex and gabe!!!!! ben passing me and megan then giving megan a huge hug then turning to me and giving me a huge hug. (let me remind you i have never met or spoken to him in my life.) brian (alex's friend in my american heart) remembering me from forever ago. sexsethful and maureen (takeover) holding hands. running into aj alllll night. it was fate.

so the third night i forgot to open a present. haha. im an idiot!!!!!

although i did go to the fftl, halifax, bno, emery show again. it was... interesting. me and mike are friends again. i dont know if thats good or bad. i guess well find out soon.

the fourth night i got power converters for when i go to israel. (i go in less than a month!!!)

and my grandma made me an afghan blanket. (spelling?)

theres an idea of what it looks like. i absolutly love it. i had asked her to make me one when i had left home. and its perfect. plus it smells like my grandparents house!!!!!

and finally tonight, the fifth night i got saved!

jac and i went to halifax, fftl, emery, and bno tonight. it was fun. phil and kelvin were there. that ruled. so was chris from saosin. i hadnt seen him since taryn and amanda were here. everyone was being super strange. in a good way i guess. haha.

well now i have a final tomorrow that i have not even started studying for. so thats my night. weeee.

first off. happy thanksgiving.

so im back in tucson. shopped with my mom today. it was fun. had sushi for the first time. yummm. strange night. saw finding neverland with lauren. that ruled. then we saw andrew nelson. man i love that kid. then came home and derek called me. he wanted to see me. so he came over. it was weird seeing him. it was cool though. then i get online and seth imed me. the conversation ended with him saying:
